Site Redesign

Web-site-screen-shotThe dust has settled and my site redesign is finished. I've dropped the Fable Photography branding and the site is now simply "Chip Talbert Photography" with a new, cooler looking (IMHO) logo. The new design also includes some changes:

  • I tried tinkering with the photo gallery programming so that it merges better with the site design but ran into problems with Internet Explorer. So for now, the gallery doen't quite fit in with the site. But I figured out how to move the photo navigation (previous, next, etc) from the side of the photos to the top. Now it's easier to click through and see all the individual images.
  • There are now update pages that will feature all the site and gallery changes. It will be an on-going record instead of a short list of recent changes.
  • The rotating photos section on the home page has more vertical space, captions, and are easier for me to update so they'll be changing more often.

Using photos from my site

People are always welcome to use my photos on their Facebook, MySpace, forums, etc. If you do, go ahead and "friend" me. I usually don't get an opportunity to meet the people I shoot and I always like the chance to get to know people a little more. You're also free to use my photos for personal stuff like desktop wallpaper, etc. If you need to use it for something commercial, just email me.

Other than that, the only thing I ask if you use my photos publicly, that you give me credit for the work. A link to my site is nice, but not required. : )
